Your crew finishes the job.
QuickBooks already knows.

Helix Field pushes customers, invoices and payments straight into QuickBooks Online. The invoice a technician raises from a driveway is in your books before they have pulled off the street — no exports, no spreadsheets, no Friday night catching up.

What lands in QuickBooks

Three things move, in one direction, automatically.

Customers

A customer is created in QuickBooks the first time they appear on an invoice, matched to the record Helix Field already made — so you are not maintaining the same address book twice.

Invoices

Line items, quantities, tax and totals arrive as a real QuickBooks invoice. What the customer was shown in the field is what your accountant sees in the books.

Payments

Card taken on the phone, or cash and check recorded by the technician — the payment is applied against the same invoice in QuickBooks, so the balance is right without anyone reconciling it by hand.

How it works

Why it matters on a small crew

Most field companies do not lose money on the job. They lose it in the gap between finishing the work and getting it into the books.

No Friday re-typing

The week's invoices are already in QuickBooks. Nobody spends an evening copying them across, and nobody fat-fingers a total doing it.

You know who owes you

Payments land against the right invoice as they are taken, so the outstanding balance in your books is the real one — not last week's.

Your accountant stays happy

Real QuickBooks customers, invoices and payments, in the format they already work in. No CSV, no bespoke import, no explaining your software to them.

QuickBooks questions

Does Helix Field integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. Helix Field connects to QuickBooks Online. Once an owner or admin links the account from Settings, the customers, invoices and payments created in Helix Field are pushed into QuickBooks automatically, so nobody re-keys them at the end of the week.

What syncs to QuickBooks?

Three things: customers, invoices, and the payments recorded against those invoices. A customer is created in QuickBooks the first time they appear on an invoice, the invoice arrives with its line items, and when the customer pays — by card in the field or by cash or check recorded by the technician — that payment is applied to the same invoice in QuickBooks.

Is the sync two-way?

No, and that is deliberate. Helix Field pushes to QuickBooks; it does not pull changes back or overwrite anything you edit in QuickBooks. Your accountant's work in the books stays exactly as they left it, and there is no second system quietly competing to be right about your ledger.

Will it create duplicates in my books?

No. Every record Helix Field sends is matched to what it already created, so a retry, a re-sent invoice or a repeated payment webhook updates the existing entry rather than adding a second one. That matching is what makes it safe to leave running.

Do I need QuickBooks to use Helix Field?

No. The connection is optional. Helix Field keeps its own invoicing and payment ledger, and companies that do not use QuickBooks lose nothing by leaving it disconnected.

Does QuickBooks cost extra on Helix Field?

No. The QuickBooks connection is included on every plan — Solo, Crew and Team — at no extra charge. You will need your own QuickBooks Online subscription from Intuit.

Which version of QuickBooks does it work with?

QuickBooks Online. The connection uses Intuit's official API and is authorised by you from inside Helix Field; we never ask for or store your Intuit password.

Included on every plan

The QuickBooks connection is not an add-on and not a higher tier. It is in Solo, Crew and Team at no extra cost — you just need your own QuickBooks Online subscription.
