Pool service route software that remembers your driving order.
Set your route order once and Helix keeps it, week after week. Techs see their stops in driving order on their phones, with the gate code and the chem checklist right there. Photos land on the job before the truck pulls away, and by the time you sit down for month end billing, most of it's already done.

How a week on Helix actually goes.
The office plans the week in a browser and the techs run their stops from the phone, all on one live record. Nothing rides home on a wet clipboard.
A pool route is a different animal from one time service work. You're not chasing leads and quoting strangers all day. You're visiting the same eighty pools every week, in an order that either saves you an hour of windshield time or burns it. So the software has a different job too. It needs to prove each visit happened, keep every pool's chemistry and quirks on record, and send the same invoices every month without you rebuilding them.
That's what Helix Field was built for. It comes from BAW International, and it was built alongside landscaping and pond maintenance crews in Oklahoma, businesses that live on weekly routes the same way pool service does. The office side runs in a browser and the field side runs on your techs' phones, both looking at the same live record. When a tech closes out a stop, the office sees the photos, the notes, and the time on site right away, not on Friday.
Set the running order once. Reuse it every week.
Recurring maintenance plans put every pool on the calendar automatically. On the dispatch board you put the day's stops in the order you actually drive them, hand each run to a tech, and keep an eye on the live map while the day plays out.
- Recurring plans build each week's schedule for you
- Put stops in driving order, per tech, per day
- Live job map so the office can see the day at a glance

Gate codes, dogs, and finicky heaters, all on the record.
Every customer and every property gets its own record: notes, visit history, photos, billing. The tech opens the stop on the phone and knows what the last visit found and what this pool needs before the gate's even open.
- Per property notes your techs actually see in the field
- Full visit history: notes, photos, signatures, invoices
- Filter jobs by day, tech, customer, or status

Bill monthly service without rebuilding it every month.
Most of a pool company's revenue is the same amount, from the same customers, month after month. Helix keeps the plan, the visits, and the invoice hooked together, so month end billing is mostly just hitting send. Repairs and one time work get estimates and invoices from the same screen.
- Recurring maintenance plans tied to each property
- Online card payments (1% platform fee, plus Stripe or Square processing)
- Cash and checks get recorded too, so paper payments don't go missing

Checkpoints make every stop a full service.
Job checkpoints are steps you set up once: test the water, log the readings in the visit notes, empty the baskets, brush the walls, take the photo, lock the gate. Every tech works the same list at every stop, so the newest guy on the truck services a pool the same way you would.

Built on trades that run weekly.
Helix Field grew up on landscaping and pond maintenance routes before pool companies picked it up, so weekly work was baked in from the start. And if you're shopping around, we keep an honest side by side of the field service platforms, ours included.
Questions we actually get.
What pool company owners ask us before they sign up.
Does Helix Field automatically optimize my pool route?
No, on purpose. You put stops in the order you actually drive them, and recurring plans repeat that order week after week. A route optimizer doesn't know that one gate stays locked until 9 a.m. or that you like ending the day near the supply house. Helix gives you a live job map and a board you reorder in seconds and figures you know your own town.
How do my techs record chemical readings?
Make water testing one of your job checkpoints. Checkpoints are steps you set up once, and a tech works through them at every stop. The readings go in the visit notes and photos attach straight to the job, so when a customer calls about cloudy water the office can pull up that pool's whole history.
Can I bill customers a flat monthly rate for weekly service?
Yes. Recurring maintenance plans keep the weekly visits on the schedule, and you invoice the flat rate on whatever cycle you sell. Customers can pay by card online (BAW takes a 1% platform fee, and Stripe's or Square's processing fee is separate), or you can record cash and checks against the invoice.
Is there a free trial?
No. There's no free tier and no trial. You sign up, pick a monthly or annual plan, and pay, starting at $49 a month for the Solo plan with 3 seats. You can cancel renewal from your account; access continues through the paid term, and unused time is not prorated, refunded, or credited.
What phones does the technician app run on?
The field app runs on iPhone and Android. The office side doesn't need an install at all: scheduling, dispatch, billing, and payroll all run in a normal web browser.
Flat pricing by crew size.
Every plan gets every feature: routes, checkpoints, billing, time tracking, payroll estimates, and the field app. The only question is how many people you've got.
